How does EnQrypt protect application data?

What is ZentriQ and how does it reduce AI token costs?

ZentriQ is Cipherion's AI privacy and memory middleware. It dynamically prunes and ranks conversational context at runtime, eliminating context stuffing and reducing LLM token consumption by 60 to 80% while blocking prompt injection attacks and scrubbing PII.

Does Cipherion use customer data to train AI models?

No. Cipherion operates on zero-trust principles and never retains, logs in plaintext, or utilizes customer data for AI model training.

How does EnQrypt encrypt data?

EnQrypt uses envelope encryption. Each value is encrypted with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption under a data encryption key (DEK), and that key is in turn protected by a key encryption key (KEK) held in Cipherion's key management, VOID KMS.

How do I add EnQrypt to my app?

Call EnQrypt from your server before you write to the database, through the @cipherion/client SDK or the REST API. Deep encryption lets you encrypt selected fields inside nested JSON payloads in a single call.

Do I need to change my database schema?

No. Only the sensitive fields change from plaintext to ciphertext; your tables, columns and the rest of each record stay the same, so your application keeps working as before.

Can EnQrypt encrypt files as well as fields?

Yes. Documents, images and other business files are encrypted before they are stored, transferred or shared, so cloud storage only ever holds ciphertext.

What does an attacker see if my database leaks?

Only ciphertext for every field EnQrypt protects. Backups and replicas hold the same ciphertext, and values can be decrypted only through EnQrypt, with keys that are never stored in your database.

Is my data isolated from other customers?

Yes. Each EnQrypt project is isolated, with its own API keys, so one project's data and keys cannot be used by another.

Does EnQrypt help with compliance?
